Jesus Said to Nicodemus a religious leader of the day... "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God... He then explains... "Unless one is born of water (natural birth) and the spirit (spiritual birth), he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit"
God is spirit and wants a friendship with man. Man is spirit, but man's spirit is dead and with a sinful nature and therefore unable to be in union with God. The good news is that God wants to give you a new spirit and change you from the inside out so you can get to know Him.
John 17:3 says "This is eternal life, that they may know you the true God and your Son Jesus Christ who you have sent."

Dear Heavenly Father,
Your Word says, "him that comes to me I will by no means cast out" So I know you won't reject me but receive me for I come to you in the Name of Jesus. and I thank you for it. (John 6:37)
You said in Your Word, "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED... for with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" and whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13
I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead so that I could be forgiven and justified and today I am calling on the Name of Jesus.
I confess Jesus now as my savior and Lord.
I am saved now and if I was to die I would spend eternity with you... Thank you Father.
From now on God, I will seek to get to know you, to talk to you and listen to you for you are my very own Father and I am your son or daughter. I know you love me... I love you too.
I will remember this day forever, for today I gave my heart to you and inside of me a miracle happened... my spirit became alive unto God, I am now a new creation In Christ, my old sinful nature is gone, and it is now a new day and a new life ahead of me. 2 Cor. 5:17
